Anela Bird, LAc, LMT
Licensed Acupuncturist (ACU-1067)
Licensed Massage Therapist (MAT-14304)
Anela is a dual-licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences.
Her treatments blend acupuncture, acupressure, meridian therapy, cupping, myofascial release, and moxibustion to help restore balance, regulate the nervous system, and support the body's natural healing processes.
Inspired by the principles of yin and yang and the flow of qi, Anela takes an individualized approach to care. She believes that symptoms often reflect deeper patterns within the body and that healing happens when we create the conditions for balance to return.
Her goal is to help people return to a natural state of flow, balance, and ease within their bodies.
When she's not in the treatment room, you'll find her exploring nature with her daughter, traveling, practicing meditation and breathwork, and seeking ways to live more fully connected to the rhythms of life.
Anela earned her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through studies at South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, and the World Medicine Institute on O'ahu. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Fresno.
She has completed over 1,100 hours of supervised clinical training and has spent more than a decade continuing her education through advanced study and mentorship.
Additional training includes:
• Dr. Tan's Balance Method
• Japanese Acupuncture Techniques
• Korean Acupuncture Techniques
• Esoteric Acupuncture
• Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
• Myofascial Cupping
• Somatic Breathwork
• Reiki
Anela also trained within the multidisciplinary pain management department at Tripler Army Medical Center, working alongside physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals in an integrative setting.
